As you can tell I am a little bias to black and white photos. Plus I love the color accent feature on my camera.

they are just eggs and she is only 3. There was one that did get cracked in the dyeing process but that was mine. Trying out a new technique. It didn't work
too well. Charlotte got to watch the big kids color eggs and Daddy gave her a little rasberry on her cheek. Oh she does not like those. You can see the many stages of her pouty lip then cry then back with the lip. It is too funny. I know we are torturing our child. Savannah got her eggs colored then went off to bed. But not without hesitation. You know the drill, I need to go potty, I didn't get my vitamins, I need a drink of water. But enough is enough, we have to get up at 6 to start to get ready for church the next morning.

since it is lunch time, and she got yanked out of bed early. So I finally get her to smile a bit. Then we have her hold Charlotte so we can have some with the girls together. Savannah
doesn't really like to hold Charlotte. So she 'lightly' holds her. Then she moves one of her arms so Charlotte rolls to the rock and her head is smashed against it. Chad grabs Charlotte (daddy should have been right there in arms reach so it didn't happen to begin with), gives Savannah a big flick in the head. So now they are both crying and I wanted to do a family shot as well. So I calm down Savannah so we can take a couple more pictures. Get her legs situated again so she isn't flashing the camera, and I set the timer. I do a couple but you know that kids don't quite understand the timer concept. I wanted to take like 2 or 3 more just to make sure we had a good one. But oh no, grumpy dad has to thats it we are going home. So I was onery basically the rest of the day.
I would have liked to keep strolling through the neighborhood, it was getting hot and the girls faces were getting red because of the heat. I believe it was 85 or so yesterday. We got home and I let Savannah find her basket. I had hid the eggs we dyed right before we went down for pictures but since daddy said she had to do straight to bed, I didn't want them sitting out for hours so I put them away. Needless to say I never did rehide them. Savannah was happy with all her stuff
inside it. We were pretty skimpy with the candy this year because I didn't want to be the one eating it. So I thought I would put more useful things in there. New swimsuit, Heigh-ho Cherry-O, bubbles, chalk, Enchanted, coloring book, book about the temple. You know the regular Easter basket stuff with a little extra. Charlotte was excited about the little floor mat toy thing and her bunny that shakes. All in all, at the end of the day it was good. It started a little rough and was bummed that I had a chip on my shoulder for most of the day. Now what to do with all this ham???
of the bucket. Apparently that was something to get all upset about. I had to dust her off and get her going again. She got plenty of eggs, since she will be getting more on Sunday. One thing that we said to the moms who were so kind to donate some candy to help fill eggs was 'no chocolate'. I think Savannah got every single egg that had something chocolate in it. The bad thing about that is that it was 75 when we started the hunt and she wanted to eat the melted chocolate. So I her shirt is now dripping with
chocolate. Oh well, I guess that is why I buy stock in Spray N Wash right? Charlotte enjoyed it from the comfort of her car seat in the stroller. She slept right through the whole thing. Good times had by all. But one plus thing is that I got lots of sleep since Charlotte slept from 6:30pm-7am (I did wake her up at 10pm to feed her but she went right back to sleep). So woo-who for me.
ing the pass, like the Arizona exhibits. Savannah is not too keen on looking at the snakes and spiders. They also have sharks and sting rays there until the end of April so we will have to head back to do those parts too. Savannah had fun both times. We brought along some friends both times. The first time we went Preeti and
Sophie came too. We brought along our lunch and we were off. The last time before this we were there in the summer and all the animals were sleeping or trying to find shade because of the heat. It was nice to actually go and 'see' the animals since they were out and about. Savannah loved seeing the giraffes and lions. Charlotte was happy and content in her little snuggly.
When Charlotte was sick of the snuggly I set her on the top canapy for a little while. She loved being about to stretch out in the sun. The girls had fun. Savannah wanted to see the panda bear. I thought there was one at the zoo but it was an Andean Bear. So she was a little bummed. The girls were being girls and argued on who got to push the buttons to tell about the animals. Then it was 'I want to sit on the frog first'. So other than the few emotional outbursts we all had fun.
What made it really fun is that I thought of the brilliant idea for Christine and I to be on roller blades. Man are my legs outta shape! It was pretty comical I'm sure for anyone that watched us. We were on our way out of the zoo (we had taken our blades off by this time), and on the bridge. For those that have not been to the Phx Zoo, there is a little lake at the entrance. So you have to walk across a bridge to get into the zoo. Anyway, on our way out the girls were looking at all the fish and turtles in the water. Savannah went to go from the rail around the stroller to be by me on the other side. Well when she popped out from the stroller she literally got ran over by a bike! The lady was not going all that fast, but still in my mind she
should have been walking her bike since the zoo was now closed and there were a lot of people on that bridge. Savannah was okay, but it really scared her. The lady kept saying, 'She just ran out in front of me.' I'm all yeah; yeah she is fine just leave. I think if she would have stuck around longer I would have flipped out. It was kind of funny to be wiping off tire prints off her leg and arm in the car. She got a few scratches out of it but nothing that broke the skin. Needless to say I will be talking with the Zoo next time I am there to suggest a sign on the bridge saying to walk your bikes.
was so much fun. It was nice to get away from kids for a night (is that awful of me to say?) Charlotte may not have thought so. She had her first babysitter and refused to take a bottle. So she was hungry when we got back. Anyway, we were the 5th row of the upper bowl. I had to remember I was to cheer for the Suns and not the Jazz. I have to say that Jazz fans at the Delta Center or whatever it is called now, are A LOT louder than Sun's fans. Every time the Jazz did something good, I was excited but I seriously thought the guy next to me would eat me if I cheered at all for the Jazz. He was HUGE and taking up half of my seat as well as his and half on the other side. I was bummed that the Suns lost, but happy for the Jazz. During the game it said on the jumbo
screen that Grant Hill would be signing autographs the next day. I thought sure lets bring Savannah to see him. We bought her a mini Suns basketball, since I told her I would bring her something back from the game if she was good. So we went down to the RoomStore to get it signed on Saturday. She
didn't like all the security guys since they really pushed you through the line. But it was fun. We are going to get Barbosa's autograph next weekend since he will be at the Maytag store and add names to her little ball.
On Saturday after running around town. To Scottsdale to see Grant Hill then up to Deseret Hills to make sure we got Savannah registered for Pre-School (I can't believe she is that big already). We thought we would do something fun for Savannah. Chad said let's go feed the ducks. So we headed up to Anthem park to feed the ducks. Savannah had fun feeding the ducks and the engineer of the little train let her and a few other kids ride the train to the tunnel to park it for the night. Savannah had fun with Horseshoe Golf.
Charlotte was happy and content all snuggled in her stroller. She is into blowing bubbles and drooling. Ah the life of an infant. I sure hope all this drooling is not bringing on teeth early. Ahhh. Savannah was 5 months when she broke them, lets hope she holds out longer.
