This is her on Thursday night around 8:30p before bedtime.
Friday August 14th @ 10:30a - It has moved to her face. Chad thinks she looks like she had a few rounds with Mike Tyson. Her back has now almost completely cleared up. Her ankles/feet & wrists/hands are swollen too. Gave her the Rx steriod.
Later that afternoon after her nap at 3:30p. The swelling has gone down a bit in her face, and off the back of her neck. For the most part not on her torso at all anymore. It was crazy how it moves throughout her little body. The doc called in an epi pen for us since we don't know the cause for a just in case (thanks Debbie for the suggestion on that). And we have a referral to an allergist now.
Hopefully in a few days we will be spot free.

oh my... poor baby. Good that it doesn't seem to be bothering her, but it still looks so yucky.
Hopefully it doesn't take a repeat episode to figure out what caused it.
Oh little Charlie! I am so sorry you have this mysterious thing going on..I am happy to hear she is happy and eating and sleeping atleast! Give me an update soon and good luck.
Oooooh, bummer. So, this won't be helpful at all but my sister gets something like that. At least it looks identical. She got it for the first time when we were in Hawaii and we thought maybe she was allergic to Salt Water or Pineapples. Neither manifested, but she has had random occurences since that we've never been able to pinpoint.
Poor little gal! Any luck finding out what caused it? Maybe it's just a totally strange fluke and it'll never happen again...you can hope, right?
I am so sorry! That really stinks. Did the check for 5th disease. Ethan had this last year and the said it was an allergic reaction but it wasn't. Then Kayla got it and Hunter. But Makayla has had a rash like that and we never figured it out. Call me if you have questions on Fifth disease.
My first thought was Fifths Disease, but the look/raise of the rash was not the same as fifths. I was still wondering but I knew Savannah would get it, and she is free and clear. She is allergic to Omnecef(Rx) and it did something similar but not this bad before. But we have no idea what it was. The steriod was the only thing helping her get rid of it.
It is all gone now, finally. But with the Rx she gained 1.5lbs in 3 days!! She was an eating machine!
It's amazing how resilient kids can be! Dax was also a smiley boy when he had a whole body rash. That looks painful to me. Glad to hear she's okay.
