Poor Charlie Baby.

So on Wednesday afternoon (August 12) I noticed a slight rash like bumpy things on the insides of Charlies legs and starting to go from her waist up her belly. On her belly it was a constant slightly raised pink. I thought maybe she rubbed against something. We went boating with friends and when we can home her upper thighs and her entire belly/chest looked like the picture of her back. We gave her benedryl and thought it was hives. The next morning the chest was a little less but it was now all over. We had a mix up with the peditricians office so we took her to the dermitologist (chad has a history of funky skin stuff so we thought to head there). Turns out she has an allergic reaction to something. What we don't know. She hasn't eaten anything different than normal, so we really can't pinpoint. OUr only thought is eating a yogurt that Chad didn't realize was expired. But I would think it would make her sick not this. The doc said it is her immune system that is going nuts to cause it. He put her on some steriods to help calm it down. It doesn't itch (at least she doesn't scratch at it) and doesn't seem to bug her. She is still happy, sleeps well and eats well.

~Pics don't show it as well and really seeing it. If you click on the pic it will make it bigger so you can see it a little better.~

This is her on Thursday night around 8:30p before bedtime.

Friday August 14th @ 10:30a - It has moved to her face. Chad thinks she looks like she had a few rounds with Mike Tyson. Her back has now almost completely cleared up. Her ankles/feet & wrists/hands are swollen too. Gave her the Rx steriod.

Later that afternoon after her nap at 3:30p. The swelling has gone down a bit in her face, and off the back of her neck. For the most part not on her torso at all anymore. It was crazy how it moves throughout her little body. The doc called in an epi pen for us since we don't know the cause for a just in case (thanks Debbie for the suggestion on that). And we have a referral to an allergist now.

Hopefully in a few days we will be spot free.

Loads of pictures from our trip up North. ~ Part I

Okay so I know I am on picture overload again. And these are still not all the pictures. I hate now long it takes to load onto blogger. SO here is the first installment. I still have pictures from my birthday, Hogle Zoo, and our hike to Donut Falls (where donuts actually grow on trees!! ;)
Happy 24th of July - It was fun to actually get to lite off fireworks again. All the kids were so excited when favorite Uncle Michael and Aunt Marianne got there. It think the kids were more excited to play Monster Michael after the fireworks. The big boys had fun lighting and chucking the flowers, while the rest of us got a nice mist from the neighbors sprinklers that were on and blowing in the wind.
Charlotte loved the piccolo Petes that scream. She was the only kid that didnt have her hands on her ears. She even clapped after it. It was lots of fun.

Charlotte and her many adventures. She found that the magazine rack was a great little seat. She was a wonderful passenger to Boston in the Power Wheel, as long as she could control the radio. She found a paper and was ready to do her work at Ashley's desk. And of course not having a nap and trying to finish her dinner before falling asleep.

All the kids had fun playing dress-up. THey are all cowboys. The big kids are the horses. Savannah is there with a long red wig on.

I love to see the Temple
We enjoyed the new temple and took the opportunity of such a pretty backdrop to snap a few pics of all the kids for grandma. I had to get a close up of Cpt Moroni since he is black from being struck by lighting.

Thats all for now. Stay tuned for the next installment. I am trying to condense 280 pictures from my trip. I think I am doing pretty good.

Geneology

Well I am up in Utah visiting my family. I thought it might be fun to have the girls be up here for the 24th to do real fireworks and enjoy cooler weather. Well since the new Oquirrih Mtn Temple is just around the corner from their houses, we got tickets to go to the open house. We went on Thursday. It was beautiful. Savannah thought it was pretty and she loved the mirrors in the sealing room that they went on forever. Charlotte loved all the pretty sparkling lights.

Later in the afternoon we went to the Jordan River temple to do family names. We brought my neice and nephew along with us to do baptisms. We did 9 women and 3 men. My brother John baptized them and my bro-in-law Trent was a witness. The rest of us; me, my mom, sis Stephanie, sis-in-law Melanie, got to go out to the font to watch. What made it so special was that my nephew got to baptize my grandfather, (moms dad), her grandfather, and her uncle. My neice also did a few of her aunts, and also others that went back farther than she remembered. It was really neat experience to be able to witness his baptism and confirmation. There was a great spirit there. I hope that he accepts the gosple and the baptism that was done for him on his behalf.

It makes me want to do more geneology on my moms side since it is just getting started by my sister.

I was glad I was able to have that experience.

Part 2 of pictures

So I think I had too many pictures on that last post. Blogger was getting mad at me and I couldn't load anymore. So here are the remaining pictures.

Beach Part 2.

Memorial Day - Some friends invited us to their parents house for BBQ and swimming. Their parents were out of town so it was just us 'kids'. All the youngin's had a great time. Even the adults were jumping off the cave. Way to go Aaron and Jill!! It was a fun to hang out with all the families. Lundgrens, Robisons, and especially the Ashtons ... thanks ... It was a great time.

Miscellaneous Pictures of Savannah

Miscellaneous Pictures of Charlotte- Charlie is ultra mischeivious. She is into everything, from climbing in and on everything, putting the chalk in the dogs water to make 'paint', turning one M&M into a chocolate orgy, packs her bags and 'says bye-bye' on her way to the garage, and then running to hide behind daddy's pants in the cloest when she gets in trouble for it all.
